Location
Chester-le-Street Golf Club is situated approximately one mile
from the centre of the town on the Eastern banks of the River Wear.
There is easy access from Junction 63 of the A1(M), 
and it is within ½ mile of the
A167 connecting road to Durham City.
Directions
Exit the A1(M) at Junction 63 onto the Chester-le-Street slip road and take the A167, heading towards the town centre. Take the 1st exit at the first roundabout, go along the dual carriageway for about 3/4 mile and then take the 1st exit at the next roundabout. Lumley Castle can be seen straight ahead, the Golf course is next to the Castle. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout and the entrance to the golf club is about 200 yds on the left.
Alternatively follow the signs for Durham County Cricket Ground until you see the Castle.
